Man dies after stabbing at railway station – four arrested

A murder investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed to death at Strawberry Hill railway station in Twickenham.

Four men have been arrested after the attack in southwest London last night.

Metropolitan Police officers and the ambulance service were called to the station at 11.53pm where a man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said he was found with a “serious injury consistent with being stabbed”.

Detective Chief Inspector Sam Blackburn said: “This is a senseless act of violence which has seen the tragic death of a young man. This investigation remains in the early stages and the station will remain closed while we continue our enquiries.
